In reply to your Craigslist posting for an Ice Hockey Defenseman, I am most certainly interested in this opportunity.
I am currently playing with another Ice Hockey team but am afraid I’ll soon be asked to leave due to my age and current physical condition. At this point in my life I’m ready for a change and I think this would be mutually beneficial to all parties involved.
For some time I’ve been a frequent visitor to the Otters' team blog and hockeymoms.com, both of which I feel intimate with. The Blogger, Dickey Dunn certainly captures the spirit of the team and I feel that I would be a good addition to your organization. I’m no Teemu, but I’m a likeable guy.
I’ll be visiting San Jose on October 30, 2008 and would like to schedule an interview. Additionally you should feel free to contact me in Detroit. No worries about the time difference as I’m often up late drinking.
