Kasvin to Join Dancing With The Stars

Continuing to ride the wave of success after the IOHA Otters’ recent championship season, another member of the Otters team has crossed over into the mainstream media. Otter flashy forward, Val Kasvin has joined the panel of judges for ABC’s smash hit “Dancing with the Stars”

Val will join fellow judges Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba for the remainder of the season, replacing longtime judge Bruno Tonioli who will be returning to his native Italy to launch his newest Italian TV program, “Dancing with the Pope”.

“We originally wanted Val to compete as one of the celebrity dancers but once the video surfaced, we realized he has a background as a professional dancer” said ABC executive, Hyman Lisbin. The video Hyman refers to was a video recorded several years ago back in Val’s native Russia. The video clearly shows Val performing in one of Moscow’s seedy back–ally dance clubs.


Hyman continued to say “aside from the questionable nature of the performance, we feel that Val has the dance experience and the charisma to be the latest addition to one of ABC’s biggest hits.”
